I decided to write this from this post about how Kamilia isn't recognized as much as other fanclubs.
Okay I kind of get what this person is trying to say. Kamilia needs more praise? lol That other fanclubs are infamous throughout the Kpop fandoms and how Kamilia is too low-profile. I wouldn't say those infamous fanclubs are known to have the best reputations however XD
I always thought Kamilia was created with the right intentions. I think KARA initially going through what they had to go through helped mold Kamilia, definitely had a lot influence. Being well adjusted and humble are reflections of the KARA members. We are what KARA is? lol. It comes naturally.
Always felt that the fandom was sane (when compared to other fanclubs lol) and we know what our role is and that is to always SUPPORT & UNDERSTAND (well to the best of our abilities) KARA.
The comments that KARA hasn't been through a lot of stuff (so Kamilia isn't talked about as much) is BS, because those people didn't follow KARA during their debut period, they have NO clue what it was like.. or rather what it Felt like. There was really only WG, SNSD, and KARA, which one isn't like the others? It was really difficult when you know that these girls deserved so much more and you see those other fandoms bashing them and shoving all their group's success in our faces. Just because what KARA went through wasn't as public as what other fandoms have to go through nowadays doesn't mean it wasn't just as big to Kara and Kamilia.
I like to point out KARA members haven't done anything for Kamilia to go crazy over.We don't have to protect KARA so much because they have never done anything so tragic for us to go on a rampage LOL. Actually I'm grateful for this because KARA created their own good image. There is nothing hidden.
Kamilia also chooses to react differently when issues arise. It's not a reason for us lose our minds over. It's really not life or death. The fanclubs control their own image and we choose to be supportive and understanding. Nothing else matters. So being praised isn't in my mindset, that has nothing to do with KARA :) If KARA is happy and proud of us then that's enough.
I think Kamlia doesn't really need recognition. I mean would it help? Kara and Kamilia. A big family. They only need each other. To tell the truth I don't like sub fan or thing like that. It breaks my heart to see a person in Karaholic liking another girl group more than Kara. Or put another girl group's icon.
ReplyDeleteReal Kamilia see the depth in Kara. They see that special charm that no other girl group has. They see not just the 4-d dorky Cole. Or the Goddess Gyuri. Or Ham's young face. Jiyoung's aegyo(I think Jiyoung has a mature side to her ^^). Hara's baby doll face(she might be pretty but she's really laid back and even though she changes a little on camera, you can still her trying to stay grounded).
This is kindof like the saying you are what you eat. But this time You are what you attract(? x3)
I'm proud of being a Kamilia and I don't need other fanclubs to notice Kamilias. They aren't gonna do anything for Kara.
I don't know whether the person wrote that post you mentioned is a fan or just casual kpop fans coz for me well i just became a kamilia since their PG days(...better late than never lol) so i might know just a little of Kamilia struggles during the early days...but i remember during PG days Kamilia's way to support the girls like with the pink glove that attract the attention...as for bashing/defending i think most Kamilia are smart enough on how to behave, and just like you said so far the girls didn't do something really wrong that need to defend.
ReplyDeleteAs for what that person wrote about Kamilia not really get recognized....well for me the fact that the girls never failed to mentioned Kamilia (even if they meant for the korean fans....) on every their winning speeches is already enough...how many other groups out there that ALWAYS mentioned their fanclub when they won....not that many i think XD
