KARA will be the first major girl group to make their comeback this fall. They’ve already unveiled their first video teaser for their 3rd album’s title track, “Step“, through their official YouTube channel.
“Step” will mark the group’s official return to the K-Pop industry after they did a joint Korean-Japanese promotion for “Jumping” ten months ago. This new song was produced by the Han Jae Ho-Kim Seung Soo combo, and it’s said to hold an exciting, rock-electronic beat that’s perfect for the upcoming fall season.
100 lucky fans who pre-purchased KARA’s limited edition album (which went up for sale on August 25th) will get to watch the group’s exclusive showcase on September 14th. KARA plans to begin their active broadcasting promotions after the Chuseok holiday weekend.

I really don't know what else KARA has to do to prove they belong under this category of "Queens of K-POP" lol.
maybe haters think kara fanbase is not big enough
ReplyDeletelike SNSD ,WG or 2ne1.maybe they think kara won 1st not as much as the other groups.haters gonna hate, but kara girls still our queens :)

i agree with you..some people just thing everything is abt SNSD,WG or 2ne!...but i think it's good that they say things lke asking kara to stick with japan..it just means they're WORRIED...
ReplyDeleteDon't mind these things like pretentious label that sensationalist journalist use to ignite fanwars. KARA and Kamilia are both humble. Not everything is about US US US like other fan groups. We just keep on trucking. Whether people call them queens or not shouldn't matter.
ReplyDeleteOn the flip side, think about this. KARA doesn't have a rabid fanbase, yet journalists and industry people still call them queens, still put them as the top 5. So just ignore these zealots from other fan groups. Queen or not, other fan groups always feel threatened by KARA. Especially AKP trolls, you really don't need to mind them.
KARA does get a lot of appreciation at least from people who actually matter. For instance, it's ironic that KARA doesn't have the biggest international fanbase, but they were awarded the Korean Ministry of Culture and Tourism Award for promoting Hallyu.
Now that DSP is starting to actually promote KARA right, KARA is doing things other Korean stars have never done before. This only makes other fan groups more envious, more threatened, more in denial. In some ways, it's more fun from this vantage point rather than being on top. We're satisfied and content right where we are, but those who think they're at the very top feel insecure and paranoid.
