Praise Gyulsus for letting me in and giving me standing room. Uncomfortable as hell but I got a view of the MCs when they sat offstage.
Major things to report for the February 5, 2012 episode of SBS’s Inkigayo:
- Nicole sings along to Nine Muses, briefly dances to B.A.P. and Boyfriend.
- KaRainbow is alive and well when the girls enjoyed dancing along to Rainbow Pixie’s Hoi Hoi.
- Right before the interview segment with Seven, Rainbow’s Pixie’s Hoi Hoi stage had a firework part and when it went off, Nicole was startled and literally jumped to the side. MCs IU and Goo Hara and guest Seven were not affected at all.
- Those lights during the Boyfriend stage were really blinding and annoying.
- The fangirls of B.A.P. have their own whistles and are really loud. Loud enough to make the MCs turn and look at the audience to see where it was coming from. Of course, it came from the girls sitting right next to me.
- MBlaq’s performance was pre-recorded so the audience got to see a different Joon death. Instead of Joon being shot, he stands and smiles while G.O. sneaks up from behind and poke him in the butt. That’s a Korean prank by the way. The audience was highly amused.
- While the performances are going, the MCs go to the side and watch the show on a monitor. Nicole likes to practice her lines before going up while IU and Hara pretty much wing it. Since the girls are in light outfits, the moment they sit down to rest, their stylist covers their lap in a blanket. Nicole and Hara share a blanket together (insert dirty joke here).
- The stylist has the best job ever because when the girls have to go up on stage for their segment, there’s some stairs and she of course makes sure they safely get there. That means she gets to hold their hand and touch their backs in order for them to not fall and hurt themselves. Oh the things she gets to do in the name of safety.
