[News] KARA Kicks Off First Japan Tour Fascinates Total of 12,000 Fans
KARA kicked off their first Japanese leg of solo concert tour
‘KARASIA’ from today. The tour first stop was at Yokohama Arena flocking
a total of 12,000 fans captivating the audience through KARA’s unique
dance and 5 members individual solo concert. As Park Gyuri KARA’s leader
received vocal cord surgery in February and Nicole injuring her ankle
also in February during the performance in Korea relieved fans as both
were shown to be healthy.
The performance today began with KARA’s newest Japanese single ‘Speed
Up’ released last month. First Gyuri proclaimed in a loud voice, ‘We
have begun our tour!’ unable to even know of her vocal cord surgery. In
response to 12,000 fans cheers the group performed a total of 24 songs
for two and half hours including their Japanese debut song ‘Mister’ and
‘GOGO Summer.’
The dance formation of Nicole was somewhat altered considering her
left ankle that is still not yet completely recovered, yet some songs
she was able to execute perfectly.
The Japanese leg of ‘KARASIA’ is continuing on the group’s 1st Asia
Tour ‘KARASIA’ that began in Korea on February. The Yokohama’s
performance today began from 5PM JST the tour will continue to Nagoya on
April 18-19, Osaka on April 27-28, Fukuoka on April 30, May 1, Tokyo on
May 16-17, and Saitama on May 26-27 for a total of 12 performances in 6
cities.
After the Japanese leg of the concert it will continue on to China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore and others.
