ReplyDeleteSo i was thinking why did hara unfollowed nicole on insta ! I guess something is going on ! I dont thing they should be mad at nicole she WANTED to stay but the management of dsp DIDEN'T . I keep thinking if nicole debuted under SM or JYP she would be more famous by now and her real talent will be shown.

But honestly it basically causes public misunderstandings of the relationship the girls have for each other. Sometimes I wonder how much the three girls tried to persuade Nicole and JiYoung to stay for the sake of the group, but to me it's easier said than done when they are the ones receiving the individual promotions unlike Nicole and JiYoung, especially Nicole. I really hope they realized this after everything that has happened. *sigh* Here I go again, I don't want to go down this route anymore. Ok, I'll stop now before it gets worse... hahaha...

DeleteNicole has always been following the other Kara members and still do. I have yet to see her unfollow anyone (yes, creepy I know, I know if she unfollow or follow people...hahaha...). I think it's pretty much evident that majority of the fandom has moved on, but to me there's still a lingering feeling of uncertainty because of the lack of closure.

ReplyDeleteI feel the same way regarding what DSP is giving YoungJi. To me, they're trying to slowly push her to the forefront so when the Kara girls eventually, which I think it's when their contract ends in 2016, they have her to fall back on to either promote as a solo artist or continue on with the Kara name. I don't blame them for doing so but at the same time a bit disgusted with them for doing so, if that's what they're planning to do. To me she is not and will never be Kara. No offense to anyone.

DeleteShe said on one show that she gets anxious because of the editing on variety shows (she had a terrible run-in with netizens b/c of that reason, prior) but that is not enough of a reason for her not to get steady solo work for three years. I've seen some fans try to use that reason as a valid excuse or that Nicole refused work but Nicole is not the type of person to refuse work especially if it was going to help promote KARA.
Even after she said she gets anxious on variety programs, she mentioned on a radio show that she still wanted to try to do all kinds of work. So she was up for anything and was still not given the work. And I hope no one says "well she wasn't in demand". Complete nugus and newbies can get get work so I"m sure DSP could've found Nicole something, especially since she had a good image and had been well liked in her previous solo activities.

Okay if nicole has a phobia in "that" variety shows, but it should not resist nicole to appear in public media, she can be a part of any other programs that nicole can, like she's in level with me (wish i know nicole that time, i'll be starved for every new episodes!)
I think everyone w ill feel better once Nicole makes a comeback. Jiyoung has already begun her return. I wish Nicole would tell us something. I'm sure she already at least has an agency. It's ok if she doesn't have comeback date news yet, I just want to at least know she found at agency.

ReplyDeleteI feel so sad! It looks like their friendship is falling apart. DSP as agency, they are the worst! They destroyed their best boyband SS501, and now they ruin KARA (That's my opinion). Being honest, DSP could be one of the best agencies. They were on the top once, why ruin the best artist you have?
I was (And still) Nicole fan first, then I knew KARA but if I started to follow them it was because Nicole. Now I still supporting both, including Jing and YoungJi. But right now I feel very very sad because I thing Nicole still loving her unnies and her dongsaengs, why they act like Nicole and Jing never existed? I am not saying that they should hate YoungJi or something. But they are always so happy, sprending love to YoungJi calling her their baby, WE HAVE TO BE REALISTIC, YoungJi DID NOT work hard as Nicole and JiYoung and she will never do it. She arrived to KARA after 7 years, saying she will do her best, and all that stuffs but she doesn't even need to work! KARA is KARA, YoungJi just came and she acts like she really deserve all that love. That bothers me so much! -.-
And the rest, Gyuri, Seungyeon and Hara, whats wrong with them? Why don even try to show support for Jing now? She's starting with her new career and they can't say nothing? I know the agency may be controling that, but c'mon! What would happen when Nicole debut? Will they cheer her or will they turn their heads pretending don't know who Nicole Jung is? What if they have to share the stage once or they have to see each other in a music festival? I would like YoungJi try to know them (Jing and Nicole) they don't have to be enemy. Wonder Girls also disband but they still supporting each other and they even say they want to collaborate in the future. SS501 disband but they still going together and still calling themselves SS501!
I hope Nicole is doing well with her debut, I know she will rock it! She's amaizing. I think she's only waiting for KARA's comeback finish. We need be patients...
A big part of why fans supported KARA was their camaraderie, how strong their friendships were or at least seemed on the outside. It's normal to question their relationships, but who are we to judge them. They know each other the best, we do not know what went down in their private lives. Even if things don't look "good", it is their lives, we don't have any say on who they should and shouldn't be friends with.
DeleteThere could be many reasons for why they didn't talk about Nicole or Jing but I think there's a long future ahead, maybe we will see some support for each other then. Right now, to mention each other at this time, each side wants to move on and start fresh; they can't do that if they talk about the past.
As for Youngji, as long as she works hard, I guess that's all you can ask of her. To do her best, to keep up KARA's legacy and that can be seen as respect for all those members that came before her haha.
That's why when i watch karasia 2nd tour again esp towards the end it irk me so much. Basically it's whole lots of JiNi . Not that i hate it but seeing nicole cry that much at least the other three esp hara and seungyeon should comfort her rather than looking around.

I am newcomer to KARA. I listen to kara since 2009, but just know the member in april 2014, because of JiNi departure. And I'm really sad, really really sad because I do really like all of their album even I don't know the member. I watched the KARA project to see about kara's future, and started to watch entire KARA-related videos from 2007 until now. and, my heart goes to nicole. Nicole is my first bias and will be the last. totally love her!.
dunno why, seems that JiNi are bit apart from the other since 2013? is that right? Sorry to say this... I feel sad too, cause they(GyulHamGoolColeJing) have really strong relatioship before... I saw nicole likes to play with seungyeon in 2007-era, and play with hara, and really adores gyuri as her leader. But now?

I thought I was the only one who noticed that they practically almost ignored JiNi. and they didnt even bother to comfort her. even gyuri put her arms around nicole but they flat out ignored her.
ReplyDeleteI think I am beginning to understand what you mean by "everything happened for the best". Seeing the way dsp promote youngji now just proved how little effort they put in to promote Nicole. Youngji is by no means as in demand as Nicole but she had a solo ost, a fixed variety show and a solo photoshoot less than two months into her debut. Nicole doesnt deserve this kind of treatment. As much as I want Kara to stay as 5, I'm glad Nicole left that place. I rather she be somewhere she is properly promoted and appreciated by her company.

ReplyDeleteI took it down just be cautious. I posted it up without thinking, well because I was excited haha but after some thought, I don't know that the picture was suppose to be public. The original pic was posted at a private fb account, I don't know how the fan got the picture but I didn't think I should leave it up XD
