Singer Nicole attended a press conference as an ambassador for promoting fashion/beauty convergence in China on December 10. It was a ceremony commissioning spokespersons to promote community projects.
The singer participated in a “T-Shirts for Hope” event by designing her own t-shirts for 300 autistic children.
Nicole commented, “The t-shirts I designed are going to the biggest rehabilitation center for the disabled in Shenyang, China. I hope we can bring hope and warmth to them.”
As a former member of girl group KARA, Nicole debuted her solo career in recent years. Her recent solo debut single “Something Special” released in Japan placed number eight on Oricon’s singles chart and ranked number one on the Tower Records K-pop singles chart.
I think this is a great start to the upcoming new year for her. I hope to see more of these goodwill participation from her, and hope to see companies picking her as their spokesperson or ambassador. I just hope to see her get more coveted endorsement deals.
ReplyDeleteOh! She really design that shirt... I read somewhere that the meaning of the word on the shirt was 'Wish you happy'.. So nice of her.. :)
ReplyDeleteWonder if they will sell it for outsiders or fans... Why not? Haha XD
KH is in chaos right now. People bashing here and there. This person resign, that person has been 'fired'. Hmm I dont find KH is fun anymore. Seriously I miss when you were there Mae. You, firewater07, kara4life...when you guys talk about Nicole, I really love it. Since firewater07 hardly update her youtube and kara4life also has not update her tumblr...I feel wanna cry. TT
ReplyDeleteBut I still lurking on their tumblr and YT. :') I know everybody is busy, but I just....I just miss all your memories with Nicole and KARA.. :")
Mae, thanks for keeping this blog alive...When I read negative comments about Nicole or Jing or KARA, I straight away go to your blog and trust me, I have some peace in here. Not some, but a lot! Hee~ Thank you Mae. :)
Ahh why I suddenly comment like this. *wipe tears* "shuhh go away sad feeling!" I should be strong like Nicole Jung! She's the fighter ever!
Fighting! :)
Thanks again Mae. :)
I miss those days as well but things change even when we don't want them too XD
DeleteI still really like Nicole and want to support her by keeping this blog alive. I'm glad this place can provide some source of comfort, I guess? :)
Thank you for the comment :)
I have to agree. Thank you Mae for the continuous effort for Nicole. I too have stopped visiting KH for many of the same reasons mentioned above. I continued to visit the site to show my support for the our 5 girls, I kept my silence regarding the new member and her supporters, to me what was done was done, I choose to support who I want to support. But after numerous visits after the everything had been settled I find myself feeling estranged from the site as it no longer felt unified. Some of those new member supporter were just plain ignorant and rude, continuously disregarding the past that has established Kara to be who and where they are now, and to even still have a group for this new member to even have a chance to join and debut in.
DeleteMy apologies for the rant. But I am awaiting for the announcement regarding the girls and their contract with DSP.
One day there will be a reunion
