[Translations] KARA Best Clips DVD Talking Segment

Rock U MV

- Rock U MV was shot very hurriedly.
- This MV is also the first MV that Jiyoung and Hara to be involved in so they did not know what to do. Both of them just followed what director said, playing and dancing around.
- Seungyeon also said that KARA had a very strict diet at that time. Only Seungyeon and Hara actually ate the food that they bought.
- Rock U dance really requires a lot of energy and it is really tiring to jump so hard. Therefore, during the next performances, KARA just pretended to put their hands high but did not jump with much effort to make it less tiring.




Pretty Girl MV

- Jiyoung and Hara like Pretty Girl MV the most.
- Each member had certain colors as their make-up. Hara had sky-blue for eyes and pink for lips; Jiyoung's eye make-up was green, Gyuri had pink, Seungyeon had purple, and Nicole had gold.
- At the time of filming, Hara was sick and she also had exams so there is a segment of the MV that Hara could not have individual scenes (try to look for it, guys)




Honey MV

- The PD of Honey MV wanted KARA not to act cute. KARA were confused of how they were supposed to act. All of them tried to look serious to show their maturity. And KARA has succeeded in expressing their seriousness. During rehearsal of KARA's first comeback, the PD even came up to Seungyeon and asked "What actually happen to you guys? Is concept of the MV thriller this time?" (LMAO)
- Gyuri was wondering about the point choreography of Honey. She thought that it was kind weird to dip her pinky in honey but bring her thumb into mouth instead.




Wanna MV

- The most memorable part of Wanna MV filming was the pillow fight scene. The PD wanted that scene to be as beautiful as a movie scene so the members had to hit each other and smile/laugh at the same time. They accidentally swallow a fair amount of cotton wool which caused them to have sore throats.
- The Parrot in the clip actually did not know how to speak.
- In one segment, Nicole was injured so she only had make-up on one eye side.




Lupin MV

- The 88-line likes Lupin MV the most.
- Nicole cut her hair short and KARA called Nicole "Nicole omma" because Nicole looked exactly like her mom.
- Hara told that when Lupin teaser came out, there were 2 members with short hairstyles; and since fans could not see the members' faces clearly in the teaser, they kept guessing who those 2 members were.
- The part where Gyuri sings the hight notes and points her finger to the sky, Gyuri was actually confused and wondering about where her hand should go: in front? left? or right?




Mister MV

- Seungyeon said that if Mister MV was shot during the time KARA was promoting Mister, it would surely be a lot better because their bodies and everything was better at that time.
- At the time of filming, KARA's clothes size was bigger comparing to the time of promotion, even though the group did not eat anything all day, did not even drink water, and only ate ice instead.
- KARA's blue sparkling pants looks beautiful, but wearing it was really tiring/troublesome because it was too hot. They were sweating a lot while wearing those pants. And it was troublesome trying to take them off as well.




Jumping MV

- KARA filmed Jumping MV Korean version and Japanese version at the same time.
- While filming for the crying scene, Seungyeon was crying so much, tears kept pouring down so Seungyeon was really satisfied with her acting. But on during the ride home, Seungyeon got worried because whenever she is not happy or crying, her upper lip will curl up and not look pretty at all (Gyuri said that it looked like the one in Honey) Seungyeon then hurriedly called the PD and requested to cut out that scene.
