Having retuned as a soloist, Nicole gifted fans with a surprise event as a token of her appreciation.
On November 23, Nicole set up a snack truck in front of SBS hall in Deungchon-dong to feed 150. She expressed her gratitude towards the fan club ‘Colling’ as well as the fans from in and out of Korea who came to see her.
Nicole said, “I wanted to prepare something to eat for the fans who have been waiting and cheering for me in the cold weather since the early hours,” as she suggested the idea and prepared coffee, tea and sandwich using her personal money. Nicole who appeared on SBS’ Inkigayo that day also gave out food to the hardworking broadcasting staff members, expressing her gratitude.
Since Nicole made her comeback as a soloist, she has been getting more visits from the fans overseas compared to Korea, gathering attention from out of the country. On November 20, the music video of the title song MAMA ranked number one on the daily chart of hallyu star portal site K-Style, which is operated by Japanese mobile group messenger ‘Line.’
Nicole released her first mini album First Romance on November 19 and unveiled the music video of the title song MAMA, announcing her solo debut, and has been carrying out active promotions starting with Mnet’s M COUNDTOWN and through MBC’s Music Core, SBS’ Inkigayo and more.
