Something Special:
that day I didn't understand the meaning of that story I heard love love
Now I think I understand it a little
Yes, a fluttering heartbeat, when our eyes meet my cheeks get hot
There's a throbbing in my heart, hey, is this love?
something special now
This is the first time I felt this in my chest*
something special now
My pure white heart is (deep red) dyed red, the power of love
Mom said "What's happened lately?" I hid it from her love love
Perhaps it's your fault I'm always absent-minded
Indeed, I want to talk to you, yet when our eyes meet I can't speak
In high spirits, depressed, love really is not so easy
something special now
When I see you I swell up
something special now
I want to tell you my feelings (right now) that's the power of love
Sweeter than chocolate, like cotton candy
Seems I can fly to you, the magic of love
something special now
The starlight pours down
something special now
The dazzling spark scatters (sparkling) that's the power of love
something special now
My pure white heart is (deep red) dyed red, the power of love
*I really couldn't think of how to phrase this better without being wordy or losing the actual meaning of the Japanese line... >.>;;
Fantasy:
can't stop… can't stop it now can't stop… can't stop it now
Can you hear? The voice of a memory
Can you see? The distant light
The opposite to a heart beating like an alarm clock
ticktack ticktack ticktack ticktack as we don't change
The border between what's real and what's a dream disappears
No matter how many times I cry, you still don't come back
Your motion emotion emotion
Don't let me go, even now our love
Remains a memory, in my fantasy
No matter how many times I cry, I still want to see you
Your motion emotion emotion
Our touching hands, eyes, chests are
A love memory, in my fantasy
can't stop… can't stop it now can't stop… can't stop it now
You're too calm, I'm the only one panicking like a fool
What expression should I make to your awkward smile?*
ticktack ticktack ticktack ticktack I've been left all alone
Crossing paths, drifting away, my heart pauses
My falling tears won't stop
Broken motion emotion emotion
A small fragment is fine
To protect the memory, in my fantasy
No matter how many times I cry, you still don't come back
Your motion emotion emotion
Don't let me go, even now our love
Remains a memory, in my fantasy
No matter how many times I cry, I still want to see you
Your motion emotion emotion
Our touching hands, eyes, chests are
A love memory, in my fantasy
*The lack of an actual subject in any part of this line actually makes a few translations possible, this one just seems the most correct in context (in comparison to "What expression should you make to my awkward smile?" as the speaker seems unlikely to make such a face given the previous line).
Love:
Awaking from my sleep, I look around
In the dark without light, I float alone
Who am I? From my heart, I spill it all out
I'm searching for you, Do you know who I am?
Call out my name
The wind in this heart will blow, maybe that's what will happen
I want you to tell me Do you know who I am?
Hey, why do I yearn for you?
These tears, this pain, their reason is you
Everything is visible, just like unknown things
From where my fear is, a wave of sadness comes
I'm still searching, Do you know where I am?
I go to wherever
If you hear this voice, guide me
I want you to tell me Do you know who I am?
Yearning for you like this
Even a sigh, even this fever, their reason is you
Where am I? What should I do?
I merely wander without knowing
I'm always searching
Always for you...*
The win in this heart will blow, maybe that's what will happen
I want you to tell me Do you know who I am?
Hey, why do I yearn for you?
These tears, this pain, their reason is you
*”zutto anata o” doesn’t actually translate directly to anything in English; however, given the previous line, it can be assumed the full thought would be “zutto anata o sagasu” (I’m always searching for you), which would make this the only real “translation” possible.
