[News] KARA, RAINBOW, A-JAX to Share Warm Hearts with Children in Need

Veteran K-pop agency DSP Media’s artists will give a helping hand for needy children in Seoul.

KARA, RAINBOW and A-JAX members will hold a charity event for children from low-income families with Gangnam-gu Office, DSP Media said in a press release Friday.

The three K-pop groups will visit the Suseo Myunghwa Welfare Center located in Southern Seoul next Monday and meet the children who could feel lonelier than usual a week before the Christmas.

The singers will hold a small concert for children, make Christmas tree and take pictures with them. They will also visit the low-income families and share rice with them.

KARA’s leader Gyuri unveiled that, “I have been interested in helping children in need and it feels so great to participate in the good event with DSP artists.”

This Sunday, the three artists and former DSP artists including Eun Ji-won, Jang Soo-won, Kim Jae-deok of Sches Kies, Park Jung-min of SS501 and Click-B members will reunite at the agency’s first united concert “DSP FESTIVAL – 22nd Anniversary,” set to be held at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul.

The profit from the ticket sales of the concert will be donated to multicultural families in need, DSP explained.

  1. It's so weird to suddenly see DSP doing all these family concerts this year. And is it just me or is 22 an odd year to be celebrating? Most times it's in increments of 5, no? 5, 10, 20, 25.
