I was surprised at first that Nicole even posted but then I remember that this day is also her anniversary too, she debuted this date 8 years ago. She has just as much ownership as anyone that is currently or or has been in the group. I'm glad she posted :)
I was surprised too. I am glad that she mastered the courage to talk about her and Kara anniversary. Also, i have this feeling that they were in touch in this day >< hopefully things will get better between them until the surprise us with selca together <3
ReplyDeleteI've posted this comment elsewhere but I am annoyed and offended that DSP posted a congratulatory message to the members of Kara with a picture of only the current members. I have no issues with that but this is an 8 year anniversary, either have a general image if the name Kara or their symbol rather than an image of a newly joined member that has yet to reach a full year of debut. And the fact they tagged each of the current member as if this is the true Kara when one member has yet to contribute much to the 8 years. I roll my eyes at DSP and their idiocy. I rather they not tag anyone and made it generic. I'm just glad that SeungYeon specified the 6 members, SungHee will always be a founding member. But if it were me to edit SeungYeon's post, at this stage in time it really is only her and 5 other members. I sound petty I know, but it's my honest truth.

DeleteDSP probably doesn't think of KARA with the same perspective. To the company, KARA consists of the current members and it is all their best interest to post a picture of the current line-up. It's great the Gyuri and Seungyeon acknowledged all the members that have contributed to KARA's successes :)
I am putting my emotions in to play with what I had written but as a business I don't think it's right for them to have done so. They should have considered the fans, it's as if they deliberately did it this way to remind and cement the fact to the fans that these are the members and only members that kept the Kara name alive up to this 8 years. It's quite rude. One girl has yet to complete a whole year. For their best interest they should have left a generic message and image so fans won't over think or over analyze, fans like myself for example. The fans are the ones that are still keeping Kara afloat, you offend them in any way to a breaking point then it's pretty much over. But of course a lot of us are more rational than that, even though I might not sound like I'm being one right now. I'm in it for the girls but things like this that DSP does makes the company as a whole seem absolutely incompetent and not worth the time for Kara to be associated with. I really hope K-Kamilias sees something in this as to complaint to DSP and give them some wake up calls.
DeleteJudging by how Nicole's case was handled, I have my own opinions on how DSP handles their affairs. Not the most sensitive to fans, even fans that supported for years.
DeleteI would be surprise if Nicole didn't post something, I would have felt as if she was trying to forget her past but I'm truly glad she did. Like you said, she has every right to do as this was her debut date as well, and I agree on her ownership of the day, she was an original member to debut on this day. I guess we'll get to celebrate two anniversaries for Nicole; her debut and her solo debut... hahaha...
ReplyDeleteLate in response but I was curious if Nicole made any comment and am glad to see that she did :) Actually I'm surprised that she did but this goes to show how confident she had become. She has every right to comment & celebrate this day because she will always be part of KARA no matter where her future lies. Its also nice to see that Gyuri & Seungyeon mention all the members, just goes to show that there are no ill feelings with the members. I hope that all their confidences grow and they are not afraid to be friends publicly and hopefully we will one day see that :)
