really?many people unfollowed her on twitter?did u mean her friends that she followed?i didnt notice that. I just know for sure that some people that unfollowed her has some issues to deal with fangirls bout following her(jaejong,jonghyun for example). But 1 thing for sure,they still friends^^
DeleteI hv always thought that DSP is sidelining Nicole, focusing their attention on few members and not giving Cole more opportunity to shine. She didn't get to perform her solo live, she's been getting the lest exposure in terms of appearance in variety shows and magazine shoots.

A Radio DJ stint is great but I really want her to appear on variety shows too. And I want her to be acting in a drama, fashion editorial etc.... I'm sure Cole is not rejecting all the offers she's getting, right? I'm sure she's thinking about how her fans want to see more of her..

Why do you say you see now that it's DSP not giving her anything? Is it because of Hara's possible new drama? I still hope it's by her choice that she isn't doing shows, but its rather frustrating to me.
DeleteI do think that there's a chance Nicole is not interested in doing fashion editorials and acting. I believe that. She joined KARA because she loved performing on stage and just because other members or other idols are interested in other areas of being an idol doesn't mean Nicole is either. I'm only saying this because Nicole's not going to school to study acting or media like the other members, who have shown strong interest in acting. The magazine stuff, most of the time the members that has those photoshoots are either the visuals of the group or are doing PR for their projects. Nicole doesn't have any projects.
DeleteWhile I did believe at one time, DSP might have been freezing Nicole out.. I think right now Nicole is trying to figure out what she wants to be involved in. Even her most recent tweets about not being as passionate as she was before, she seems to be taking her time and not rushing into doing something because she feels she has too.
While I'm a little frustrated not seeing much of Nicole, I could never blame DSP.
DeleteWe like seeing her in variety shows and we enjoy her on variety shows, but it came as a shock to me that she said she has a phobia of variety shows and how it'll come out after editing. She also had little screen time on Heroes because she doesn't go out of her way to grab attention like how variety-dols should do.
We'd love to see her act and she can, but she also recently said that her pronunciation is still not good. Acting involves good pronunciation (acting workshops even have time for tongue twisters to improve this). She could portray someone who's good with English but not so much in Korean, but really how many characters are written this way?
As for a solo album/mini, this would cut into DSP's schedule of comebacks.
There are many things to consider and I think she's really taking her time to think through all of these. At least we're sure that once she does something, it's what she wants to do. And we can appreciate it more because of that.
For once I am really worried about Nicole. She don't seem to have any solo activities at all. Except for dazzling red and gda. And now with her idol friends unfollowing her too. Also the recent 91line photos, she wasn't in any of them... I really hope she is okay and Nothing happened
ReplyDeleteWho are the idol friends unfollowing her? I'm curious. The 91 Line Photos, Mir and Jinwoon weren't in them too right? So maybe Nicole was busy doing something else. Even though we don't know anything, and if she is going through things with certain people.. she has KARA members :)
