[News] KARA Set to Meet Korean Fans

KARA will hold a small-scaled fan meeting in Korea this week.

Through a press release on Tuesday, the group’s agency DSP Media said that KARA will hold a fan meeting at Sang Myung Art Center in Seoul on June 15.

KARA will meet the members of their fan club Kamilia to celebrate ‘Kamilia day’ with around 1000 fans, the statement added.

Kamilia is taken after the name of KARA’s official fan club which is a compound word of ‘KARA’ and ‘familia,’ the Latin word for family.

‘Kamilia day’ was founded on June 11, 2011, by KARA and their fans which they celebrate each year to show their support and gratitude for each other.

The theme of this week’s meeting is ‘Kamilia award’ where KARA are the award winner and the fans are the the audience attending an awards ceremony.
Meanwhile, KARA will hold a fan meeting in Japan at the Yokohama Arena concert hall on June 24, themed ‘Kamilia School.’

Also, KARA’s Nicole will perform solo at MTV’s “VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN” [VMAJ] on June 22 and the show will be aired on television on the following day.

The group will also be in five-part cine drama “Secret Love,” set to be shown this fall.

“Secret Love,” directed by director Kim Gyu-tae, will be an omnibus of five different fairy-tale-like stories, depicting on the various aspect of love that revolves around each member of the group.
