[Translations] Hara Talks about Nicole & JiYoung Leaving KARA
Fan: i'm curious about how you feels at that time (referring to Nicole & Jing leaving)
Hara: as for that, the things that made us unable to say anything is, they are on the process of making their own life's journey. and since their contract was finished, it was the situation where we can't do anything. we did try to hold them but we also respected their views.
Hara: those words was the most hurtful "you guys should have hold them. why are you guys just stand still". but it's not that we didn't do anything.
The full translations are here, it's pretty interesting hearing Hara's thoughts: http://www.twitlonger.com/show/n_1sjn3j8
It's good to know that the members did try to get both of them to stay.
I feel frustrated when people don't want to acknowledge that Nicole did not leave willingly. She even tried to explain her position and why she was making certain decisions. Have to remember that Hara's comments are from Hara only. It would be great to hear what Nicole has to say on the subject, unlikely to happen though.

Not only that she tried to stay but they also forgot the fact that she contributed to the success of the group. People are wierd, ignorant and some of them are not logical. Sometimes I wish if Nicole is able to talk about the situation but other times i am thankful for her being considerate and respectful.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I felt there was something off about this answer too. Even with Nicole's answer in her Grazia interview. Something just didn't seem to add up to me. I just felt the two replies were missing something, it just felt like it will create more misunderstanding. I don't know what it is but the replies just doesn't seem coordinate with each other well, I just can't figure out what it is...
ReplyDeleteThey can't reveal everything because Hara is under DSP and Nicole knows KARA are still active. Whatever they may reveal might not be good.
DeleteI always feel like KARA was a split-group. HaJiNi, Seungyeon and Gyuri. Of course Hara has more feelings about her old members, because of the age. Different from the oldest members who saw the situation as a work issue. But Hara saw it as family-friends issue. For her, it wasn't co-workers departure, it was friends/sisters departure. So she got alone. That's why Hara and YoungJi became friends easly. I'm happy they keep in touch, what I don't like is how dsp use this old issue and makes Hara talk about it on her program just for raiting...
