Nicole's Mom :)
Hi guys, i went to visit Seoul during the past week and decided to visit Red Kitchen at Yeoksam-Dong opened by Nicole's Mum!
When I arrived ,me and my friend quickly snapped some pictures of Red Kitchen. It was really late at that time and I was surprised that it was still open. We ordered 2 delicious bowls of spicy ramen and took videos and photos of the shop. At that time, we spotted a lady who was wearing an apron was managing Red Kitchen by herself. To our surprise it was actually Nicole's aunt!!! we quickly asked her the address of the other shop as i have seen it on the TV show tvN Taxi. We quickly got down the address and head down to Aura the next day.

The place was really near JYP . We took a taxi down there as we are unfamiliar with the area. The service at Aura was great as the waitresses there would help you cook,serve your food and you just need ta dig in! We tried buckwheat noodles cooked in beef stock and it was heavenly! (2 of us finished the whole pot) the beef was bright and fresh before its cooked and full of flavour
!!! along with the food , we were given dessert which is a yogurt ice cream and for 22,000 won its really really reasonable! The place was well decorated and has a very nice dining atmosphere.
At that time , we thought we had gone to the wrong place due to the fact that it does not have anything on display that is related to Kara until we showed the staff the pictures of Nicole's mum to see if they knew who she was and to our surprise they knew and they were shocked on how we found the place and that fans from Singapore would come all this way. I recalled the shocked face on the waiter's face and he said in Chinese :真的假的!?
When we are about to set off to continue our shopping, a lady with a black outfit strides in to the restaurant IT WAS NICOLE's MUM!! 
we had a short interview and chat session with her to find out more about her business. She seems very excited and a very comfortable person to be around with
. Here are some of the questions we asked :
Why the names Red Kitchen and Aura?
Red Kitchen is named after the red ramen that is the specialty of the restaurant and that she likes spicy food hence Red Kitchen.
Whereas Aura, she wanted the restaurant to have a bright and long lasting effect to her customers when they come in to the restaurant.
Why is Aura so much different from Red Kitchen( with Kara posters and signatures) ?
Red Kitchen is leaning more towards for fans to visit and not to spend too much money ( Spicy ramen costs 5000 won which is CHEAP!!!! )
Whereas Aura is a high class restaurant and she doesn't want to burn holes in fan's pockets.
Why Aura?
Due to partnership with friends and also due to the fact that both herself and Nicole likes beef!
Are there any international fans that visit Aura?
Yes, but mostly are Japanese ( and now Singaporeans! )
How often do you see Nicole?
Once or twice a week when she is free. She normally comes over to Aura to visit.
When we left the building , the staff greeted us with bows and smiles.
It was a very enjoyable and unforgettable trip down to Aura and I hope us fans should give her all our support whenever we visit Seoul!!
