KARA has now been confirmed for ‘Wind Blows In Winter‘ PD Kim Kyu Tae‘s five-part drama ‘Secret Love‘!
Gyuri, Hara, Seungyeon, Jiyoung, and Nicole will star in the five-part romantic melodrama featuring one act plays led by each of the five members. The drama will touch upon the different kinds of love including one-sided love, first love, breakups, and more. It’s rumored that Hara will be the one up first in the five-part series, but according to the agency, that hasn’t been completely finalized yet.
A representative commented, “Director Kim Kyu Tae, who is the mastermind behind top-notch productions with his impressive cinematography, and his top writers will team up with KARA to create a sweet and lovely drama. Please look forward to KARA’s five-part love story in fall 2013.”
The show is planned to premiere in Korea first and then broadcast later in other countries across Asia.

Kara Members to Work With “That Winter, The Wind Blows” Director
On May 15, an official from Kara‘s agency shared with TV Daily, “It’s been decided that Goo Hara, as well as the rest of Kara, will appear in the short drama.”

KARA to be in Cine Drama “Secret Love”
Girl group KARA has been cast in a five-part cine drama set to show this fall.
A press release by the film’s production company MAYS ENTERTAINMENT said on Wednesday that ”Secret Love” will be an omnibus of five different romantic stories revolving around each member of the group.
Each part will depict on a fairy-tale-like story surrounding their ways of reminiscing first love, enjoying the thrill of a secretive relationship, indulging in immortal love or undergoing the heartbreak of a parting.
The drama will be directed by director Kim Gyu-tae who recently helmed Zo In-sung’s “That Winter, the Wind Blows” (2013) through which Kim proved his talent in bringing out beauty through imagery.
“Secret Love” film will be accessible through television and theaters in various countries including Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan this fall.

If this is true, that's some heavy story line. I'm curious what the other story lines will be.
Whoa! I can't wait for Nicole's storyline! I hope they cast a good-looking male for her. Like maybe Kim Jaejoong or Kim Myungsoo!!!!!! I hope she has a happy ending and a kiss scene too!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI personally think that she should have a love triangle for the storyline. Out of all the members, she seems the most fitting for this type. i'm sure the casting crew will easily find fit partners ;)
ReplyDeleteLets hope her story isn't a one sided love or a heart broken one. I really want her to have a happy storyline. With her bubbly personality, I agree that she should be in a love triangle. The only problem is....who would be a good fit to play the bad girl and her Prince Charming?

DeleteNo...Nicole's personality doesn't fit as a bad girl. She would be hated by a lot of people. I think she would be good playing a clumsy nerdy girl falling in love with the hottest guy. Now that would be something worth watching! Lets hope they cast a famous actor to play along side her. And let's hope to see her in a actual drama.

ReplyDeleteI am curious where you heard about that, I haven't read anything like that. From what I read, there will be 5 parts and each member gets a 70 min episode.
