[News] Who really moves the music industry? Meet the movers and shakers of K-POP.

Sweetune

A duo of composers comprised of Han Jaeho and Kim Seung Soo.  They’re the gears behind KARA’s success, having started with “Rock You” and going on to produce “Honey“, “Mister“, and much of the group’s other representative tracks.  They’ve recently begun to work with INFINITE and Nine Muses as well as the title track for KARA’s upcoming September release, “Step“.

After Honey & Mister, Sweetune blew up.

I'm still on the fence of wanting KARA to work with other producers or just stay with Sweetune.

  1. Sweetune all the way! Why? Nobody will remember "Jet Coaster Love" or "Go Go Summer" in a year or two... but everyone will still be rocking "Honey", "Mister", "Jumpin'" (and hopefully "Step") on their iPods. Even at concerts, the crowds cheer louder for Sweetune songs than any other. But that's just IMHO...

  2. ^ Actually GO GO Summer is one of the biggest hits of Summer in Japan this year, digital sells are massive and might surpass Mister.

  3. Mister has staying power. It's been out a year and people still buy digital copies. Not surprising, Mister is a once in a lifetime hit. It's arguably the best song of the decade. ;P

JCL and GGS are targeted for different audience. But they still retain the addictive chorus and choreography like their Korean hits.
