Well just from the teaser, I didn't find Electric Boy catchy at all but after watching the MV a bit now.. I'm getting used to it. The girls look pretty lol.
there is so little of nicole in terms of lines or even standing in the middle...which is crucial since japan music stations usually just capture the ones standing in the middle...
Nicole got the middle position towards the end of the MV, but Cole isn't really the center anymore.. has been like that for awhile.. not in Korea or Japan :(.. XD
I have noticed that too.... and frankly speaking i got a little upset
But I am over it now... if we love Nicole, no matter where she stand, whether she is at the center or not, our eyes will still follow her. And from what I see, Nicole doesnt seem too bothered by it and always give her best in every performance =)
Well,they probably cut some of the song and I think they probably sing like this.Beginning,the slow part and chorus at the ending.So,with that we can get more Nicole in the middle LOL
Nowadays it feels like Nicole gets so little of real lines and just says alot of backup things like "crush" or "electric boy". I wish they'd give her more lines. I can't wait for her to change her hairstyle/color, I haven't liked it at all.
IDK I think this song is weak for KARA. This song is just okay but not as the main track. From the teaser image I thought it would be something cool but then it's also cute, both of the concept it doesn't seem to match it seems to be half hearted and not fully emphasize for me maybe that's why it seems off. Beside they got reputation to maintain an fans expectation to meet so I hope KARA would choose better songs next time.
Not really liking this song at first but I believe It'll grow on me.On discussion about Cole getting less lines nowadays,I think it always like that LOL.As I remember they gave more lines to Seungyeon and Gyuri during Rock U era.Then,during Honey etc,they improvised her singing by given her more rap part and adlibs.Mister,Lupin,Step and Pandora also she got less line.She got more to adlibs I guess.This EB has more longer chorus than their previous releases I guess.
I think DSP tries to promote Jiyoung and Seungyeon more lately just like how they did with Nicole and Hara in the past. But it is Nicole and Seungyeon who are most popular in both SK and Japan nowadays. I don't understand why they chose Jiyoung instead of Nicole. Whatever, I don't like EB anyway so I won't mind anymore. I will be waiting for good songs with Nicole focused like Mister and Lupin.
i think it's indeed true that both Nicole and Seungyeon are the most popular in Japan recently, after Hara, Jiyoung, and Gyuri "era" before. but i think why they choose Jiyoung instead of Nicole is just the same as how u explain it before, that they want to "promote" them more.
