[News] Nicole Working with Hallyu Producer Lee Kyu Chang to Prepare for Solo Debut

Former Kara member Nicole will be receiving help from famous Hallyu content producer, Lee Kyu Chang.

According to Kin033 Entertainment, Lee Kyu Chang has been helping Nicole study and train in preparations to for her solo debut. Lee Kyu Chang was the bridge to connect Scooter Braun to PSY and played a crucial role in PSY becoming an international household name. Along with Lee Kyu Chang, Nicole is also working with director Ray Yeom.

After leaving Kara in the beginning of 2014, Nicole has been updating her fans with photos and videos, mostly centered around her taking dance lessons from choreographers like Jermaine Browne and Luam Keflezgy.

While some news sources were reporting that Nicole is preparing for a U.S. debut, other news sources are saying that Nicole is preparing for a Korean debut, with an open mind to expanding overseas. Nicole’s recent tweet of “I was preparing for a solo Korean debut…but they’re saying America;; I will work hard to prepare to meet everyone” seems to fit more with the latter. Either way, it looks like Nicole is working hard show a new self to her fans soon.

    1. From Nicole's tweet, she seemed pretty surprised there was speculation of her debuting in the US at all.

  3. Excited for Cole!!!!! But I'm a lil bit dissapointed with knetz mean comments in netizenbuzz. Like they are so rude for commenting that hoping she will fail with this silo debut. I was like WTH with these knetz. They ain't seen nothing yet but they already making worse assumption. It's not like Nicole doing something wrong by chasing her dreams. But I honestly think knetz in general don't really like Kara even to innocent Cole. There seems hates everywhere in Kara related articles.

But as Cole said she will try hard to meet us with her better self so I will ignore all this rude comments and fight with Cole till the end to prove they are wrong :)

    1. The thing is Nicole received many positive and encouraging comments as well.
It is whatever you choose to focus on.

I know there are doubters, but she seems up for the task to show what she is all about. She has many supporters rooting her on ^^

  6. Yes! This is what I've been waiting, actually news and updates on her solo debut. All I have to say is she is working with all the right people! These are people that I doubt DSP would ever associate or allow the girls to associate with. Just my own thinking. All those years of networking and making connections paid off for her. So hyped up for her debut now. My support for Kara will remain, but my bias will always be Nicole.
