So I was wrong  XD

Something Special is Nicole's debut song.

I was just surprised at how this song was revealed so much earlier than the release and performed at such a large public venue where people could and did record her performance.

I didn't think Nicole would have gone the same route as she had for Korea.

Anyone else expected a more upbeat, bright song? From the fancam, I didn't think the song fit that description at all..

  2. I'm surprised too--but then again, "Something Special" does seem to be Nicole's sort of style...
I'm curious and wondering about what the DVD『目指せ大人女子!ハマル・ニコル』 from Version B is... Hm... With my limited knowledge of Japanese, all I could pick out was "women" and then "Hamaru•Nicole" so I went to Google Translate... The title thing seems to be something like "Aim for Adult Women!" which really confuses me LOL. And I dunno who this Hamaru person is... Seems like it's interesting though...?

  3. Well, lyrically the song does seem more "upbeat" than Mama... hahaha... but I'm excited for the MV making. Was hoping they would release a DVD of her Mama debut too but nothing ever became of that. But the song itself to me does seem like something Kara would have releases as well, maybe that's why she went this route, something the fan can still identify her with and something she can approach fans with as her new beginning. She could be saving the upbeat and dance style for her next comeback, probably starting off with her Korean comeback. I think she's going at this quite smart, just to show that she's being to both her Korean and Japanese fans. Nothing too different as to cause any thoughts of preferences between the two countries. If you guys know what I mean. Excited for this. Especially knowing Kara is releasing their album in June as well, they might be going against each other. I hope to see some interactions. And wishing Nicole comes out on top... hahaha... just to rub it in DSP's face.
