[News] KARA Awarded Gold Record in Japan

KARA, along with rock group CN Blue, has received Gold Record accreditation for their most recent Japanese releases.

On October 19, KARA released their fifth Japanese single titled, “Winter Magic.” Since its release it has been certified as a “Gold Album for Foreign Music” according to the Japanese Record Association.

It is quite an accomplishment to reach Gold status. Albums which sell more than 100,000 units are awarded the Gold grade. With “Winter Magic” achieving Gold, this marks the fourth time in a row that the group has attained the honor. The previous releases to achieve Gold status include: “Girl’s Talk,” the first Japanese album, and "KARA Best," their greatest hits album. KARA is extremely honored to be awarded with the Gold Record once again.

Congratulations to the talented ladies of KARA for their Gold Record, not once but for the fourth time! Keep up the great work and spreading the love of your music abroad.
