[Vid] "My Way" Making (filming+ comments) Eng Sub

I don't mind them using Nicole to help promote the movie even though she only has a cameo. The movie has big time actors, they don't Need Nicole.  But this is a great chance for Nicole to experience what's its like to work on a big budget, big set with many extras etc.  It's definitely in both of the movie and Nicole's interest, they both get perks out of this lol.
This part might land her more opportunities in the future, you never know :D

  2. Yeah, I agree they don't need Nikori to promote it... but I'm happy that she's getting some press on a simple cameo. And she's shown translating too (she could get more roles on co-productions of Japan-Korea-US) hehehe ok, I'll spazz on my own now ><

  3. ^^ Don't worry anon! I'll spazz with you coz i'm just sooo excited. Although i am a bit miffed coz Cole got this cameo through her mom's contacts. And she got the stint w/ Mango Six through her own interest for food..

Just left me wondering, what is DSP planning for her actually? The only they've got her doing (outside the normal activity) is the Inkigayo MCing.

I'm thankful for all that DSP hv done .. but No CF, no photoshoot, no song collabo, no nothing?!
Are they still made at Cole for the previous eps? (just curious here) ...

No matter, I'm sure Cole will be able to work it all out and we'll support her definitely :)

  4. I don't think we should blame or disregard DSP completely. Nicole did say that she wants to concentrate on things that she's interested in and prefer to do than have it forced on her. From another point of view, I appreciate DSP for allowing Nicole to have a say in what she wants to take on rather than having them signing her up for things she has no interest in. Not many company nowadays will allow such freedom for their artist. Besides, after all these great surprises from her, I trust her completely in her choices and her career path. Just never stop supporting her.

  5. I think we SHOULD blame DSP completely. I have never heard that "DSP allowed Nicole to have a say in what she wants to take on". Does that mean that other girls don't "have a say" ?
I see Gyuri enjoying her musical (*cough* except for the karma *cough*) and her new show and other crap. So, she haven't had "a say" on it ? It was forced on her ?
I am very surprised how Hara endured that "City hunter" torture. She must have begged not to get involved in that.
The fact is that DSP haven't provided Nicole with any work and that is the only known and undeniable fact. Everything else is just a malicious assumption.

  6. The members aren't promoted the same, that's what we have to wrap our heads around lol.

Just strictly seeing this from a Nicole bias POV, it's like an insult to Nicole when others are working and she's just there. She's worked hard too, to help KARA out there but she's not really getting a chance to promote like the other members. At least not the same type of exposure. We believe Nicole as a lot more to offer as well. It feels odd especially after the dispute that some people felt Nicole and her mother had a big hand in. (Of course, I don't believe Nicole or her mother has that much power to force other members and their parents to get that involved lol)

From an objective view point, Nicole has mentioned she wants to be careful in what she chooses to do or what kind of project she attaches herself too. This is proven by Kuki Six and My Way, which are projects from people she knows personally. The Mcing gig was worked out by DSP and this is a good start to getting back into solo promotions.

Things have definitely changed, the dynamics between members and the dynamics between KARA & DSP. I feel like now, it's better to just go with the flow. I trust Nicole when it comes to what she wants to do with her career. I think it's best not to be negative or look back at the past XD

  7. I agree with Mae, we're just going with the flow and the inkigayo MC stint is a good sign that DSP is giving at least something ( work-wise) to Cole.
And yes, Cole has a good head on her shoulder and with her mom's guidance, I'm sure she'll be fine.

And looking at the impressive network that Cole and her mom have, I am quite sure they will succeed (w/out DSP's help).. maybe just takes a bit longer. :)

To the Anon who answered after me, i understand where you're coming from about 'Cole having the option to choose what she wants to do'.. Cole has never had much interest in modelling but I don't think she would hv said NO to any OST, song collabo or acting stint. Plainly put, DSP is not bothered to promote her as much as the other members at this point.

I don't mind much abt Gyuri & Jiyoung coz I've always felt they were 'under-rated' so it's good to see them hv more activities. Hammie too, like Cole, only has the Animal Farm MC-ing : (

Looking at the situation positively, I'm happy to see that Cole's 'lack of exposure given by DSP' is compensated by her charismatic and energetic perfs on stage. Even w/out those 'promotions', she still holds her own and still reign in th hearts of devoted fans like us :)
