[blab] Nicole could do radio
There are plenty of radio shows out there in Korea that are for English speakers. Like KBS world and I know the As One girls and J.ae have radio shows on TBS. So it's possible for Nicole to participate. I know I've mentioned this before but DSP has set their sites sort of low in using Nicole's knowledge of English. I mean if she has troubles with Korean and Japanese at least take advantage of her English and let her participate in another type of outlet where she will do well. Plus I think KARA needs more publicity in that arena, appealing to other English speakers around the world. Come on DSP!!

ReplyDeleteThat is one of the reason i'm not a strong supporter of DSP. IMHO, they're not very resourceful and proactive in their marketing strategies..
A good example is the way they manage Cole's activities. Just like u said, they shd take advantage of Cole's proficiency in English to get her spots in tv or radio show done in Eng.. a good way to promote herself and KARA. Like what U-KISS do on Arirang.
I think DSP failed to see the potential of promoting KARA to international fans coz if they do, they should hv realised that one opportunity is through Nicole... d-uh?!
Yep Nicole had A lot to do with bringing in more English Speaking fans.. sometimes I'd rather Nicole do something well at a subject she already knows a bit about then force her to do something she isn't.

ReplyDeleteI just saw a bit of Heroes ep 3 and it seems that now Cole is in the 'Unpopular' team.
The way i see it Cole's personality doesn't really fit the show.
i noticed when they play any games involving language or cultural info, she's a bit reserved and often the crew loves to show her looking blur or clueless.
In a big team like in Heroes, Nicole is just too nice for her own good. I think out of respect for the other unnies, she prefer to be less aggressive and more comfortable being a spectator.
Sometimes I wish DSP would cast her in shows that will highlight her endearing qualities & strength instead of just any other show.
On a side note, I love Cole's appearances on Dream Team where she was able to show her competitive and sporty side <3
yes shows like DT, SBG, FO, her own show are the best.. they showcase what is best about Nicole.. and that's where fans love to see her the most. Her popularity is so much more different.. like Nicole is a household name.. or was due to SGB and IU and Jiyeon.. I don't think so.
