Nicole is the 4th from the last and obviously Hara is number 1..their respective air dates are at the top. First, this isn't even a fair comparison lol.. If Nicole was on IY I bet she would have more airtime.. it's about if Nicole is comfortable or not, I think in Heroes she's probably overwhelmed because of the huge cast and she's one of the maknaes.. sort of impossible no? Hara does gags and seems to be the most daring of the bunch too..not the same. Glad the Korean fans agreed too, not a fair assessment.
Lol also this was the beach episode, right? I honestly think different people dominate airtime every episode--IU, Jiyeon, and Yoo In Ah got a lot of airtime with the Taeyang episode, but this time they got less than Cole. Even if she doesn't get a special, I'm content with her just having fun (though I do get irked a bit everytime they tease her about her Korean...). And Hara's a pro now, and have less competition now that Sunny, Yuri, and Hyunah are gone.

Hmmm, I don't get why it's unfair? I mean to me Hara tries to get her air time in IY.. I mean IY is competitive too. And I think if Hara was in the Heroes cast she would've gotten more air time than Cole. I mean Cole doesn't try to get air time. She just acts herself(which some people cannot do). So I think it's still fair. I don't really think Cole cares if she gets air time or not.

I think it's unfair to compare Cole and Hara then I agree x3 But other than that. how much air time they get is pretty fair to me.
well for me, it could only fair if the comaparison done based on their appearance on the same show...although i get what topogsako mean...

But i think Heroes PD had high hope for Nicole for example so far she already get her own background music etc,,,well lets hope both of them rocks on XD
topogsako, Okay if you just compare the shows and that was it then it's fine but there's like an undertone of Nicole vs. Hara here. I've noticed a lot so called fans like to pit the members against each other.. usually SY/Hara vs. Nicole for some reason. Nicole in particular isn't the same in Variety as Hara, if you want to make a fair comparison I say Hara and SeungYeon would be better since their images are quite the same on tv.
ReplyDeleteLolz... Why did they even come up with this kind of silly comparison?! Haha... who cares who gets more airtime? We all, especially Kara fans love all the 5 girls, don't we?! Doesn't really matter anyway to me =) Everyone of them has unique charm and different sense of humor!! =D
ReplyDeleteI agree with mae.. sometimes fans or people in general compare or pit members against members. So far, i've come across quite a no of 'Hara vs Cole'. And when that happens, I'll be quite defensive of my fave Cole <3
ReplyDeleteEach members hv their own strength and preferences and I believe DSP should be smart in casting the girls in shows that will promote them best.
Hara does quite well in shows like IY where there's lots of competition coz:
1) her face value (beauty) alone makes her the cameraman's darling ensuring her enough screen time
2) she's not shy or scared to do gags or whatever it takes to get screen time. In fact I think she would fare better than Nicole is she was in Heroes coz she's doesn't have a 'language handicap' like Nicole.
I personally think Cole doesn't get lots of air/screen time in Heroes coz:
1) high competitiveness = quite difficult to vie for attention in a group of 12 girls
2) her language handicap - esp in the rolling game, Cole hv a hard time understanding the question and getting the right answer
3) I think Cole respect the unnies and so doesn't really get into her 'competitive' mode
4) Cole's simple and sincere personality ... she's unpretentious and definitely not the type to suck up to anyone or be brash and loud just to get screen time.
DSP should try to cast her in sports-related or physical game shows like Dream Team, where she's confident and interested enough to show her competitive spirit <3 <3
On a side note,it's an unfair world indeed when a talented person can be pushed into the shadow just because she's not as beautiful and not a good attention hogger like the others ... T_T
